Willard H. Douglas, Jr. 93 passed on February 16, 2025. A memorial service is scheduled for February 28, 2025 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Howard University School of Law.

Peace and Blessings to the family of Panther Willard Douglas. I will never forget the first time meeting this great, direct, supportive, sharp, and humourous man of service. He pretty much told me my younger brother Kenneth Johnson who is his younger fraternity brother was more of a brother to him. I felt like he was trying to steal my baby brother from me but he was definitely an inspiration for my brother. He also inspired me to be a greater service to our alma mater, VUU. Rest in Power Brother Douglas.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Judge Willard H. Douglas, Jr., a remarkable man and lifelong friend. His wisdom and compassion will be forever remembered.
