William Dabney Obituary

William Lee Dabney "Lee," 68, of Richmond, passed away November 1, 2004 after a long battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his son, John William Dabney. He is survived by two sons, Phil Dabney of Fredericksburg and Tim Dabney of Richmond; and five grandchildren and many close friends. Mr. Dabney served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was the former owner of Dabney's Exxon in Fredericksburg. He most recently worked at Hall's Tire and Auto Service in Richmond. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, with interment to follow in Westhampton Memorial Park.

Lee will be greatly missed.Jeff worked and learned alot from Lee at Halls Tire & Auto.Samantha loved playing on the computer with him.he was always in a mood for Solitare and was very good at it....We will miss you Lee...........
