William Dunkum Obituary

William W. Dunkum Jr. "Will," 87, of Richmond, formerly of Manila, Philippines, passed away after a short illness on November 2, 2004. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; son, Bill; grandson, Brian; and a brother, E.H. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Long and Florence Gadol; grandson, Michael Gadol; brother, Ellis; two sisters-in-law, Eloise and Elizabeth. Mr. Dunkum spent 45 years as an executive with Reynolds Metals including 30 years in the Philippines with Reynolds International, and was a graduate of the University of Richmond. The family will receive friends Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Central Chapel, 3801 Augusta Ave. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Westhampton Baptist Church, where Mr. Dunkum was a longtime member. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Westhampton Baptist Church, 6112 Three Chopt Rd., Richmond, Va. 23226.
