Joshua Dee Beard, 31, of Goshen, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.
He was born Nov. 10, 1983 in Hillsboro, the son of Danny C. and Karen Liming Beard.
Josh was a construction worker for the Cork Equipment Company.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Hodges Beard; three children, Brayden, Eli and Zoey Beard; mother and stepfather, Karen and John Lamb of Blanchester; father and stepmother, Danny and Sherry Beard of Fayetteville; maternal grandparents, David and Artia Liming of Hillsboro; paternal grandmother, Lois Beard of New Vienna; three brothers, Jesse (Bambi Burney) Beard of Lynchburg, Jacob Beard of Blanchester and Shawn Rowlands of Hillsboro; one sister, Heather (Anthony) Chamblin of Sabina; one stepbrother, Dustin Lamb of Wilmington; three stepsisters, Ashley (Zack) Carroll of Xenia, Samantha Lamb of Blanchester and Libby Naegel of Columbus; seven nieces, Sadie and Sierra Beard, Kylie and Isabella Chamblin, and Serenity, Shawnah and Nevaeh Rowlands; two nephews, Brodie Chamblin and Shawn Rowlands Jr.; one stepniece, Rylee Work; two stepnephews, Jaxson and Dalton Carroll; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Leo Kuhn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Troutwine Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
