Steve "Tiny" Wilson, 67, of Greenfield, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022.
He was born June 28, 1954, in Greenfield, Ohio, the son of Edgar David and Elizabeth Jane (Huddleson) Wilson.
He was a 1972 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and an avid McClain Tiger basketball fan. He was also a member of the FOE #1325 and VFW Post 4736. He was a friend to many and will be missed. Steve was a lifetime logger and Owner of Wilson Logging and former trustee of Paint Township in Ross County.
He is survived by one daughter, Shelley (Wes) Smith of Greenfield; one son, Joshua (Brooke) Wilson of Gloucester, Virginia; eight grandchildren, Tanner (Whitney), Gable, Payton, Beckley, Emery, Bailey, Kohlby and Kollin; three great-grandchildren, Jax, Marley and River; his partner, Shirley Comstock; two stepdaughters, Danielle (Shawn) Mankin of Chillicothe and Christina (Greg) McCullough of Chillicothe; five stepgrandchildren, Brooke, Brennan, Brandt, Gracey and Gunner; two sisters, Carol Ann Wilson Brady of South Salem and Sue Wilson Hill of South Salem; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Williard D. Wilson and E. Don Wilson; special nephew, Michael David Wilson; and both parents.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 28 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Larry Snodgrass officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the McClain Tiger Boosters, P.O. Box 335, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
