Daniel Whitehead Obituary
Daniel J. Whitehead, 25, of Mildred, Pa., formerly of Harveys Lake, died unexpectedly Monday, March 7, 2011, at home. He was born April 22, 1985 in Kingston, and was a son of James D. and Linda Barry Whitehead of Harveys Lake. Daniel attended Lake-Lehman High School and was employed as a pipe liner by DWR Construction Co., Oklahoma. He was presently attending the Living Hope Fellowship in Estella, Pa. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Nichole Capriotti of Mildred; sons, Kaleb, Gavyn and Xander, all at home; brother, Michael T., of Harveys Lake; sister, Veronica Harrison of Plymouth; paternal grandmother, Katherine Whitehead of Dallas; and his special uncle, Tom Leskowsky of Pikes Creek; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Scot Magann, of the Living Hope Fellowship, officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Citizen's & Northern Bank, 111 W. Main St., Dushore, PA 18614, to be placed in a trust fund for Daniel's children's education.
