Lisa Marie
(DeBois) Fenton
56, of Batavia, Illinois, and formerly of Dover, died Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Delnor Community Hospital following a three month illness. Born June 25, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Margaret Immel DeBois Cugliari of Dover and the late Paul DeBois. In addition to her father, Lisa was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Megan Marie Fenton, nephew, Jon-Paul DeBois and step-father Rick Cugliari.
Lisa was a devoted wife and mother who also worked for Caldwell Banker Real Estate in St. Charles, Ill. Lisa was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia. She truly loved her family. Whether it was spending time with her husband and daughters or with her mother, brothers and sisters, they were the center of her life, especially her granddaughter, Adalynn.
Lisa will be profoundly missed by her husband of 29 years, John Fenton who she married on April 5, 1986; daughters, Kelci (Travis) Anderson of Batavia, Ill, Molly Fenton of Walnut, Ill, Rachael Fenton of Batavia; granddaughter, Adalynn Gloria; siblings, Jerry DeBois, Steve (Mary) DeBois, Michael (Jennifer) DeBois, Diane (Mike) Clugston, all of Dover, Chrissie (Chris) Hensel of Strasburg; step sister, Gail Cugliari of Uhrichsville; step brothers, Bob Cugliari of Zoar, Nick (Rose) Cugliari of North Royalton as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Jimmy Hatfield officiating. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery located in Dover. Calling hours will be at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover on Friday, July 24th from 5-8 p.m. with Christian Wake services starting at 7:45 pm. A memorial service officiated by Fr. Jared Twenty will also be held at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia on Saturday, Aug. 8th at 11 am.
Lisa was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan; and therefore, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lisa's memory to The Chicago Blackhawks Charities by visiting blackhawks.nhl.com/charities/. Donations should be made in denomination amounts of "10" in honor of her favorite former Blackhawk Patrick Sharp.

I have been attending Mass at neighboring parishes for many months now, so I did not know about Lisa's illness or her death. I am in total disbelief because I just found out about Lisa's passing yesterday. My most sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful mother, wife and Grandma.
