Lynn Schrader Obituary

Lynn F. Schrader
66, of Stone Creek, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013 in his home. A son of the late Fritz and June (Buehler) Schrader, Lynn was born Dec. 3, 1946 at Dover, Ohio. Lynn graduated from Barberton High School in 1964. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country in the Vietnam War. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Lynn also enjoyed painting and drawing as well as building models airplanes and cars.
He is survived by his sons, Derek Schrader of Surprise, Ariz. and Sean (Britney) Schrader of El Mirage, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Madalyn and Eric; a brother, Gary (Barb) Schrader of Canton; and his former wife, Christine Steigerwald of Surprise, Ariz.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Cremation will follow visitation and inurnment will be held in Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to do so may send the family a personal condolence and light a candle in remembrance of Lynn by visiting the funeral home website, www.geibcares.com. Contributions may be made in Lynn's memory to a charity of one's choice.

Was so sorry to hear of the loss of my good friend Lynn. I have many special memories spaning 30 years which I will forever hold dear in my heart. My condolences to his family...especially his sons, whom he always lovingly mentioned in our conversations. Hoping you will all find some solice at this time of grief.
