Jerod Miller Obituary



Jerod Miller, 54, formerly of Watseka, passed away Saturday morning, September 4, 2021 at his home in Effingham.

A visitation was held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Per Jerod's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following services. Memorial donations may be given in Jerod's memory to HSHS Hospice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.bauerfh.comwww.bauerfh.com>.

Jerod was born March 8, 1967 in Watseka, the son of Darold Miller and Anita (Eighner) Holaday. In 1985, he graduated from Watseka Community High School. He married Patricia "Trish" Lilley on July 17, 2009. Jerod was a longtime employee of Waupaca Foundry Inc. in Effingham. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities. Jerod enjoyed singing karaoke and was an avid University of Alabama football fan.

Jerod is survived by his wife, Trish of Effingham; father, Darold Miller of Watseka; mother, Anita (Jim) Holaday of Milford; several aunts and uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth & Barbara Eighner and Austin & Imojean Miller; sister, Judith Miller; aunts, Pam Miller and Connie Lowrence.
