Alison Heck Obituary

Heck, Alison (Rausch) EAST GREENBUSH Alison R. Heck, 86, of East Greenbush, died Sunday, April 15, 2007, at her residence in Slingerlands after a brief illness. Born in Albany, she was the wife of the late Martin H. Heck Sr. She was pre-deceased by her twin brother, Albert "Bud" Rausch of Schodack. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of the East Greenbush Reformed Church. She is survived by her son, Martin H. (Brenda) Heck Jr., of Lynchburg, Va.; her daughters, Barbara Bartoletti, of Rensselaer, and Deborah (Russ) Puppe, of Ghanna, Ohio; her sisters, Eda Evensen, of Nassau, Lois McCombie of Scotia, and Barbara MacHaffie of Anacortes, Wash.; her sister-in-law, Lee Rausch of Schodack; seven grandchildren, Martin (Kristine) Heck of East Greenbush, Jennifer (Mark) Ferri of North Carolina, Elizabeth (Gregory) Drews of New Jersey, Kevin (Gennifer) Puppe of New Jersey, Susan (Mark) Wentker of Georgia; Eric (JennaLyn)- Fiance Bartoletti of Virginia and Sgt. Gregory Bartoletti of Fort Drum; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday morning at 11 o'clock from the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer, N.Y . Friends are invited and may call Thursday evening 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands. The family has requested that those who wish to remember Alison, may make memorial donations in her name to either the Greenbush Reformed Church, 688 Columbia Tpk., East Greenbush or a Veterans organization of one's choice.
