Andrew Gidley Obituary

CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. On the 9th day of September, 2006, our brother Andrew John Gidley of Cambridge went into the arms of our loving Father. Andy was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Gidley. Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Paulette and son, Nicholas Gidley. Also his loving aunt, Eileen Vosburgh; brother and sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews and several cousins. Andy was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Cambridge and a warden on their vestry. He was a lifetime member of the S.W. Pitts Hose Co. Latham, N.Y., member of the Sons of the American Legion, Captain Maxon Post, Cambridge, N.Y. Deputy Sheriff Gidley was disabled in the line of duty, employed by Washington County. At the family's request, it was a private service and burial. Contributions for the family may be sent directly to Paulette Gidley, c/o Andrew P. Miciotta, Funeral Director, 5 Carlyle Court, Ballston Lake, NY 12019.
