Brian Danz

Danz, Brian DELMAR Brian Danz, 62 of Delmar, passed away on April 11, 2021, at his residence with his loving children by his side. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Ferdinand and Ruth (Wendell) Danz. Brian was the proud father of Jason (Betsy) of Delmar, Craig (Amanda O'Leary) of Delmar and Nichole of Ravena. He also leaves behind grandchildren, Maddie, Ellie and Ben Danz, Aniyah Danz and Josiah Koronkiewicz. In addition, Brian is survived by his five siblings, Dennis of Rotterdam, Steven (Deborah) of Latham, Patricia Marx (Peter Bubb) of Rotterdam, Richard (Barbara) of Colonie and Bruce of Rotterdam. Brian is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Robert; sister-in-law, Laurie; and his granddaughter, Kaliyah. Brian enjoyed a long career as a glazier which all began many years ago at Dave's Glass. He enjoyed attending the numerous family events and activities his grandchildren participated in. Some of his favorite pastimes were decorating for Christmas and taking vacations to New Hampshire with his family. Brian also enjoyed spending time outdoors while hunting and fishing. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 16, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the interment to follow in Memory Gardens.
