To the family of Chris LaFortune,
Kind, caring, and never an unkind word spoken. Spent many a good time with Chris as we passed thru LHS. Always knew his sports, just a pleasure to be around. The life of a party with that laugh and smile. Loved by everyone. The world needs more Chris LaFortune´s. Missed but not forgotten.

Hey Chris, always had a great time together at concerts(over 25) traveling up the Northway to Glens Falls or Saratoga....we shared our love of the 3 Stooges and our dislike of each others sports teams lol. It's hard to believe that I won't be getting a phone call on my birthday or just out of the blue. My heart is broken, but, I know you are in a better place with those you have missed for so long....just wanted to say I love you and until we meet again, will miss you

This is a very hard post to write, I don´t want to say goodbye to you, nobody does. I know that you are up there with your mom, aunt, and grandmother and that is the only reason how I can come close to accepting this. Uncle Chris, you helped me so much with school whether it would be to help me study or a project that I waited til the last minute to do, you helped me no matter what. You were the smartest person I knew especially when jeopardy came on forget it, I didn´t even finish the question and you had already blurted out the right answer to it. I love the story how you were on your way to audition for jeopardy and got lost and took a wrong exit, I always looked up to you and wished I could be half as smart as you were. You taught me how to do my taxes and never wanted me to pay to have someone else do such an "easy job" as you put it. You drove my mom to the hospital because her water broke and I was on the way whether anyone was ready or not, and you begged my mom in the car to please wait cuz you had no water and towels to deliver me. I will cherish these memories forever and I was and always will be honored to be your god daughter. My kids will miss you too, miss your stories, all the snacks and silly toys you would have for them, and of course always asking how they were doing in school. I love you so much and please give gramma a big kiss and hug for me and I promise I will take care of your brothers, your sister, and your dad. I will never be okay you´re gone and never accept it, I will hold on to your memories forever, and I will always talk about you and never forget you. I love you Uncle Chris and so heartbroken that you´re gone, but you don´t have to suffer no more. RIP Uncle Chris, I will always love you!!!!

My dearest cousin Chris We have had many memories over the years and conversations. You were an awesome funny guy. My favorite memory of you is when you would be playing with any of the family children and you would pop your lips at them and make goofy faces. Children flocked to you. You gave them toys and goodies. I loved our conversations about all the old candy and chips that weren´t around anymore and fixated on the Taco Bell Doritos which btw you still owe me a bag since you found them lol. I plan on collecting when I see you again. I will miss walking in and seeing you in the kitchen in your tye- dye bandana or some other color. Those are just some memories one of my fave places to go was your dads and you are part of the reason. Every time Danny would come he would constantly sit out in the parlor and talk with you. We are both truly heartbroken you were taken way to soon and were a huge part of our family dynamic. Rock and Roll in heaven Cuz love you.

Thank you Uncle Chris for always being there for us when we needed you. Your knowledge and wisdom of just about everything has always impressed me. I'll cherish all the mornings we drank coffee together after my sleepovers at grampies. Thanks for sharing your powdered creamer all those years with me. You always had the funniest jokes or one liners to share to make us laugh. I can hear your three stooges sounds now! My nickname Feebie came from you and It's so special to me.
You now have a new role to play - our guardian Angel. Please hold Grammas hand and watch over us all now. Grampie, my mom and dad and your brothers need that more than ever right now. My brother and sister and cousins need that too
Until we meet again- please send us all the signs and rest easy Uncle Chris. No more suffering for you. I love you.
