Ironic to have this reminder in my inbox this morning. I was having an issue with a clock a couple days ago and made the comment "Darrell would never have let this happen. He took care of his clocks."
We all still think of him often.
Peace to all over the Christmas season.

Brenda & Family: My condolences to you. As you know, I worked with Darrell at Polsinello Fuels. We went through the whole gamut of work place emotions. Darrell's knowledge and quick wit never failed to get us through. Darrell did not sugar coat and told it as he saw it. RIP, until we meet again. -Jerry

Darrell was a person who truly defined a good heart. He was someone who thrived off of making other people happy, even in the worst times. Wonderful friend, colleague and someone who will never be forgotten. A great example to us all. He always had time to talk and joke with the strange kid from Poland. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Dear Brenda,
I was so sorry to hear about Darrell. It made me think about your trip to a Tulsa, OK. Darrell was so nervous and excited about the trip. I was so glad and I know he was so happy to be able to celebrate a Mother´s Day brunch for you at The Patriot Club. I found a few photos from that day and have shared them below. Always a quirky unique sense of humor, positive and good person. I know he loved you and his family very much. Our deepest sympathy and prayers for you and your family. Sincerely, Leigh and Bill Smith

To Darrell´s family....
I´m another of Darrell´s guitar forum acquaintances who proudly calls Darrell a friend. He was kind, fun, and funny. We make a lot of connections on the forum and Darrell was tops.
I was shocked to hear of his passing. He´s always been there with great uplifting posts, and a treasured sense of humor. His participation touched many people who he never "met" but will always remember him. His loss will be felt.
My condolences to you.

My deepest condolences to your family and friends. You don´t know me but I spent many hours talking guitars and laughing with Darrell on a music forum. Almost always guitars would be forgotten and the conversations would go anywhere the wind went. He is truly one of the funniest, nicest, and most sincere guys I met on there. He will be greatly missed by his musician friends.

Although I never had the opportunity to meet Darrell in person, he was one of my best online friends. He was generous, kind, caring, and truly one of the best of us. I will never forget him and the impression and encouragement he gave me. I loved him as a dear friend. I pray for peace to his family and offer my sincerest condolences. Rest assured that his love and joy spread far beyond his community in person and spread throughout the world to all who knew him.
Rest in peace, my dear friend. I've lost a part of myself in losing you, but you've also left a piece of yourself with me that will remain forever.

I only knew Darrell online, through a music forum we were both members of. He was generous with his time, enthusiastic toward all and always supportive to all members, especially newcomers. He was a very good man and he will be sadly missed. Wishing his family and friends my condolences from the UK. Rest in peace Darrell.

May seem strange to think a guitar internet forum to be such a part of one's life, but that's what we shared with Darrell here. It's where he started and ended most days. The same for most of us. Easy to see he was one of the good ones who just wanted to love and be loved. Special guy who's impact on us individually will remain intact forever. Prayers and peace to all.

While I never had the pleasure to meet Darrell in person I was privileged enough to know him. Darrell was the kind of man we need more of in this world. Easy to laugh, quick to help those in need, Darrell was a good man and a good friend to anyone he knew.
