Frederick Lamb Obituary

, Lamb, Frederick LEEDS Frederick Lamb, age 77, of Leeds, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at home, where he lived with his beloved wife, Carol. Frederick was born at home on November 21, 1938, in Lambs Corners, Westerlo Township, the son of Herbert Hayes Lamb and Grace (Shultes) Lamb. He worked the family farm and was employed at Royal Metal Products in Surprise for forty-three years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Carol (Johannesen) Lamb of Leeds; four children, Mark (Barbara) Lamb of Greenville, Susan (Wayne) Myhre of Greenville, Bruce (Trisha) Lamb of Leeds and Sally (Terrance) Collins of Greenville; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Erin Myhre, Jenna Lamb and Devin, Emma and Quinn Collins; a great-grandson, Samuel James Fenton; sisters, Marguerite Duraski, Clara Waldron, Gladys Gridley, Joan Bedell; and one brother, Herbert Hayes Lamb Jr. He was predeceased by his sisters, Doris Ormsbee, Marion Caubet and Esther Lamb. Fred's quiet, strong, friendly and loving presence will be greatly missed. We will cherish the memory of him. As per his request, there will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice, 47 Liberty St., Catskill, NY 12414.

Grew up vacationing in Greenville N Y. Met Fred at that time and he was fantastic. Worked on his home he built in Greenville that he shared with Carol, Mark & Susan. Fred was a great guy.

Mrs Lamb and family,
Sorry for your loss. He was a nice man and I enjoyed knowing him. He always had a smile on his face when I saw him. He will be missed.
