I can say that is was fate because you two brought us together to hold each other downa dnbe that friend you never let us stop being with out a fight I know your both looking down at me and Danielle Smiling.... I love and miss you dearly...

Gail,
I can't believe that it is almost a year that you have been with your Heavenly Father. I think of you so often and wonder what you are doing. Are you sitting at the feet of Jesus worshiping and listening to him as the disciples did. Are you fellowshipping with loved ones in heaven. Whatever it is Gail, I know you are happy and that makes me happy. You can be proud of Danielle, she is working and doing well. I know that is because of all the prayers you sent to the Father when you were here on earth and He is honoring them now

Gail, as we come upon your first anniversary in heaven, I still find it hard to believe that you are really gone! I look back on my memories of you and I'm grateful for them. I hold your pictures close to my heart. I miss your laugh, your hugs, your love, your talks, but most of all I miss you! I will love you always. Until we meet again my dear sister. Love Dianne

Hi Mom,
It's the day after Mother's Day. I should have done this yersterday, but lost track of time. I brought you some flowers yesterday, and I put down some grass seed so hopefully your area will grow in nice and green. Aunt Bonnie and Dianne are gonna help keep an eye on it for me. I still miss you just as much everyday. I just found out that Shirley passed away a couple of weeks ago. Now you have your buddy with you. You can have tea time again. I love you mom.

Today is Thanksgiving, the first of many holidays that I wont have you with me. But I am thinking of you just as I have every day. I miss you more than you can imagine. I finally got accepted for a state job, Dept. of Education. I start next week. So I know you're up there working miracles and I thank you. I love you more than you'll ever know. Gail Hayes' family wants to thank all of you that have thoughtfully expressed your concern for our dear Gail. I think its great how the Times Union allows people from all over to reach out like this. The messages are helping the whole family, as we continue to read the entries. As for me, Gail IS my sister and I miss her greatly. Your loved one has been on my mind since hearing of her hospital stay at Albany Memorial...I had inquired about her condition with other church members and was glad to hear she had made a big step of progress....and most important it seemed she had lifted her spirits and self esteem in making great strides with her health. Mommy,
I love you with all my heart. I will keep the good memories of you with me always. I am so very proud of what you accomplished before He decided it was time to go. You worked so hard and it showed. You are the strongest woman I know. You overcame so much so you could make sure I was taken care of and you did an excellent job. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I am truly proud to be your daughter. I have a difficult road ahead, but I will try to keep in the forefront of my mind the fact that I will see you again one day. So I will say "see you later mommy". You are my angel. And I will always be your baby girl.

I was very sorry to hear of Gail's death. I remember her as she was in the photo from our years of growing up across from all of you on Bridge Street in Slingerlands. I hope that prayer and time will help you get through this difficult time.

It was wonderful to see Gail and all of you at our last family reunion. Gail especially was so happy that we were all together. But as much as she loved her family here, she missed the family that had already gone ahead and now she is celebrating life eternal with them! My prayers for comfort and peace are with the family.

Dear Charles, Bonnie, Diane, Danielle, Michelle and Uncle Lew:
My prayers and so many thoughts of years past are with you. I have lost a very dear cousin, and in the last few years since our last reunion in Ithaca, Gail and I have communicated quite a bit by mail and telephone and again renewed our childhood relationship, laughing and crying many times. Michelle and Danielle, you two were the most important part of your Mom's life. She talked about you non-stop when given the chance. She loved you with all her heart! She loved her family! What more can I say. She was proud of you all for your achievements in life.
To you Gail, I'll miss you! I know you are celebrating with all our loved ones who were waiting for you. You'll always be in my thoughts.
