A Cherished Memory:
I remember George, on the piano, his dad on the Mandolin, and Luddie and me on the Guitar or just singing along.
The memories of the music we made at that time in our lives lives on into the heavens above.

The Amann Family,
Dr. Amann was such a kind, caring, and brilliant man. I am glad to have had the good fortune to have had him as my dentist and consider your family as friends. Please know our family is here for you, do not hesitate to call.
I'm glad he had the memory locking myself in the bathroom to skip going to the dentist, it made him laugh every time he saw me. I loved our conversations about the world, politics, education, and anything else that would pop into our heads. I distinctly remember being jealous of whatever kid got roller skates for Christmas or a Birthday one year when I could hear them above me as I'm sure I was getting one of the many baby teeth pulled. He will be truly missed but left a wonderful mark on the world.

Anne and family. You don't need me to tell you what a great man George was. He lovingly spoke of all of you and he was so proud of you all. George was the only dentist our children knew, and treated us all like family. I will miss his jokes, his professional dedication and the hugs he gave me after an appointment. The Silverman family will miss him greatly. Rest in peace George.

20 so years ago, my boyfriend's younger brother came out of his bedroom around 10:00 pm with a huge swollen lower lip, his mother called Dr. Amann's house, 10 minutes later we were in his office, he was in his bathrobe and working on Michael's mouth. I knew right then this was the kind of dentist I wanted but I did not have dental insurance. When I called his office, Mrs. Amann told me that was fine as long as I sent them a check each time I got paid for at least $10, Dr. Amann would see me. Once Dr. Amann called my name at Family Day but I did not know who he was, he covered half his face as if he had his mask on and I immediately said “Hello Dr. Amann! I enjoyed going to his office, seeing the kid's drawings on the wall and if I was especially blessed I would hear his son practicing his music upstairs. He was also so nice to me, as is Mrs. Amann and Sharron. I will miss you!

Anne and family, we are so sorry for your loss. George was a great guy and great cousin. Even tho we were many miles apart, we shared stories over email. One of my most prized posessions was the picture of our Grandmother Holland which he recreated on the computer and sent to me. She had died when my Dad was only 15 and George's Mom was much younger.

Love and prayers,

Jack Holland

Anne and family, I will always remember George as a gentleman and role model for all his children. Having been fortunate enough to have the pleasure to teach most of them, it was clearly evident that they were raised with love and moral hardiness. You were blessed to have him and we were blessed to have him as part of our community and our church family. Fondly, Tina Pickett
