Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Clarence C. and Ruth A. (Hopkins) McRae. Gordon graduated from Albany Business School, and retired from G.E. in Shipping and Receiving in Selkirk. He loved doing puzzles, watching and feeding the birds, and rooting for the N.Y. Yankees.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care he received while at Shaker Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Whitaker Unit.
