Kenneth Jenkins Obituary

Jenkins, Kenneth M. SCHODACK Kenneth M. Jenkins, 47, of East Greenbush, died Friday, August 13, 2010 at his mother's residence after a lengthy illness. He was born in Albany. He lived in the Capital Region his whole life. He was a warehouse worker for SYSCO Foods in Albany for 23 years prior to his illness. Kenneth was an avid hunter. Predeceased by his father, Franklyn W. Jenkins Jr., he is survived by his mother, Mary (Hogle) Jenkins of East Greenbush; two brothers, Frank-lyn W. (Michelle A.) Jenkins III and Mark E. (Brenda) Jenkins. He is also survived by his niece, Kristina Jenkins; two nephews, Franklyn W. Jenkins IV and Garry Hulsopple; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to thank Cheryl and the staff of the Community Hospice of Rensselaer for the care they gave Kenny. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral 10:00 a.m. Monday from the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer, N.Y. Friends may call in the funeral home on Monday from 8-10 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, N.Y. The family has requested that those who wish to remember Kenny make memorial contributions to Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 in his memory.
