Lance Spallholz Obituary
ROUND LAKE - Lance Orton Spallholz, age 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, surrounded by his family. Lance was born in Boston, Mass., grew up predominately in Salem, N.Y., and raised his family in Round Lake, N.Y. Lance was educated at Salem Washington Academy in Salem, N.Y.; the College of St. Rose (MS); and Union College (BS and MS). He served on the Union College faculty for 27 years. Lance was pre-deceased by his parents, Janice Orton (of Salem, N.Y.) and Ernest H. Spallholz (of Salem, N.Y.); and by his daughter, Kindred Spallholz. His closest living family include his beloved wife, Norma (Schweers) Spallholz; his son, Drue Spallholz; his daughter, Julianna Spallholz; his grandson, Phineas Spallholz Wheeler; and his brother, Julian E.
