To the Martin family, Laurie, and Pete's daughters, Emily & Sarah;
He was just a kid: inquisitive, mischievous, funny as-all-get-out, quiet, and determined. A bit mysterious and quite humble, Pete was fun and ever-so-talented....and crafty. He was always working down back behind his house near the river....always busy with one project or another. It was during those high school years (and shortly thereafter) that I worked with Pete here at Blood's Seafood & Catering---oh, what a fun-loving crew that was during those years.
With plenty of laughs and several summer nights full of fun, Pete and his smile were never far from the action.
Though I haven't seen him in decades, I often think of him as I drive by his parents' house, wondering where his journey took him and where such an imaginative and inquisitive soul would land. Clearly, he continued to draw friends into his heart and collaborate on many a project with an impressive and sustained career path. May his spirit and his infectious smile provide comfort for his girls and those special to him.
I join you in your broken hearts and will forever keep his face, his friendship, and his stories a vital part of our days at Blood's here in Vermont.
With sincere condolences,
Janet Cunningham

I met Peter a few times at the Waloomsac Brewery. I was impressed by his enthusiasm for life and his gracious spirit. Gone too soon. May his family find comfort from one another and all those that he touched.

Our hearts go out to the entire Martin family of which we often feel a part. Peter was a great kid and an even better adult. There are no words to express our sincere sadness. Our prayers are with you.

Dear Laurie & The Martin Family,
I am terribly sorry to hear about this tragedy and loss. My deep sorrow thought my thoughts and prayers are in the forfornt of my mind. I will be raising a glass in celebration of his life in good spirits. He was around while visiting my second cousin Laurie and I have always supported his phenomenal beer he made at Brown and will continue to support it. Though I didn't always see him much, I currently felt his kind heart and soul in speaking about him. Thoughts and Prayers are with you. God Bless.
With love,

Sending love, light and my strongest vibes for comfort and peace to family, loved ones, friends and the Brown family. Peter was a sweet, humble, brilliant man. Conversations through the years always turned to love of family, woodworking or building (always a project in progress or on deck), and how best to fish the Walloomsac. Like so many other whose lives he touched, I will miss him. My sincerest condolences to all.
