To the McDermott Family,
Your family and mine go back a long way. Your Mom and my Aunt Rosemary Buenau were friends for years. My father (Les Byrne) told me that your Dad used to deliver newspapers to my Grandparents home on Jeannette Street in Albany. Your Dad and I worked together at Wendell Cadillac for 8 years. That was in the early 70's and I still remember the day he brought me an Apple pie to bring home to my family. I'm sure you will miss him terribly. I'll keep Phil and the McDermott family in my prayers.

To the McDermott Family,
My name is Kim Dalton and I am one of the night/weekend receptionists at Delmar Place. Although I only knew Mr. McDermott for a couple of months, whenever I would see him walk past the front desk, he always had a smile on his face. He was a very nice man and will be missed at Delmar Place.
My sincere condolences, Kim
