Grandma, there are so many things I could say about you, and none of them would do you any justice your the most incredible human being ever. I will never fully be able to put into words how much you mean too me, but I could go on for the rest of my life trying. From day one you have always been by my side, pushing me to do things no one else would. Never judging me and always understanding things from my point of view. You always knew how to make me laugh and smile.. You truly are the best and always will be. You would play with all of us for hours even when we would pester you every second to keep going... I love you and I miss you so much. I will strive to do better for you, just like you would want. I'm going to make you proud grandma. I love you so much, always and forever..
Your granddaughter..

To my first friend, first tea party guest and one to never get sick of rewinding Barney VHS's. To find the courage to write this seems easy when knowing the amount of courage you had through all of this. Your strength will be embedded into my mind forever, and in my time of weakness it will be a constant reminder to persevere. You left a piece of you in each one of us, all different. As you did anything in your power to make us happy.. From playing dolls or pitching wiffle balls anything you could do to make us smile. I will continue to strive to reach my goals for you to look down and smile upon me. I don't like the term "battle" or "fight" because when going into a fight you have a choice. However, you nor any of us would have chose to have this horrific disease bestow it's hand upon you. It doesn't make sense to me, why but to know that you are no longer in pain puts a tiny ease on my broken heart. I know you will be looking down on all of us and guiding us with your loving touch. I will be replaying memory after memory in my head and tell Eastyn of all of them as you would tell me stories when I was young. Until we meet again, watch over us Gram.
I love you forever & missing you always.
Your First Granddaughter.
