Sandra Konikoff Obituary

EAST GREENBUSH Sandra Brown Konikoff, age 55, of East Greenbush, died Monday, April 28, 2003 at the Samaritan Hospital after a long illness. Sandra was born in Troy and was a graduate of the Dean Jr. College in Franklin, Mass. She also attended Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. Sandra resided in Massachusetts for many years where she was employed as a senior communications analyst for Fidelity Investments in Boston, Mass. She returned to the Capital District in 2000. She was a member of Temple Beth El in Troy. She is survived by her beloved mother, Lillian Silverhart Konikoff of Troy, N.Y. and a brother, Mark (Judy) of Lafayette, La. She was the loving aunt of Isaac, Michael and Sarah Konikoff. She is the daughter of the late Irving Konikoff. Services and interment will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at 12:00 noon at the Beth El Cemetery, Belle Avenue, Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Beth El, 411 Hoosick Street, Troy, NY 12180.

Sandy, I always loved you as a friend and companion. You were the light of many gatherings and the anchor to hold us together. I will miss you deeply, as well as I will miss the stregnth you provided me for day to day life.
