Ted was my Teacher among teachers. He played an instrumental role in my life as a young teen. He taught me about literature, theater, music, drawing and painting. He taught me how to be sensitive, humorous, insightful, kind, creative and friendly. I am so sorry for your loss, Urbain and all Ted's friends and relatives. I too shed tears...tears of golden and precious memories and total respect and love.

We worked with Ted back in the late 80s. We enjoyed his creativity, sense of humor and unique approach to life. So happy we had the opportunity to know Ted.

Ted - you introduced me to the theater and I fell in love with it that I made it my major. You introduced me to so many things. My life is richer and broader because of your presence.

My Teddy Bear! I can't get Rod Stewart out of my head today... "you're in my heart, you're in my soul!". You were my #1 favorite teacher, we met again while you were at Brookside, then you introduced me to plein air. I have one of your paintings on almost every wall of my house. You'll always be with me. Love you... a bushel and a peck!

Ted was flat-out great, a terrific teacher and director, and one of the most interesting people I've ever known. He once let me take a number of his classical LPs when he moved away from Schenectady, and I still play them (thank you, Ted). An unforgettable man, whose classes opened my eyes to literature I had never known before. I feel lucky to have reconnected with him as an adult, if only briefly. My heartfelt condolences to his family and Mr. LaBarre.
