NICOLASORA Mrs. Helon Center Nicolasora Nanny, 83, died peacefully Wednesday, April 12, 2017 with her daughter Cindy by her side where she had lived since January 18, 2016. Mrs. Nicolasora was a native of Jacksonville and retired from Parker & Mick Metal Company after 20 years service. She also worked for Sears, WW Gay and enjoyed making cakes and catering. Mrs. Nicolasora was a member of St. George Church of God, St. George, GA, where funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 with Rev. Grady Albritton officiating. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Additional committal services will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Jacksonville National Cemetery (Lane #2). Mrs. Nicolasora was preceded in death by her husband, Asterio Nicky Nicolasora in 2015; parents, E.K. & Oddie Dorman Center and 3 brothers: Curtis, Arthur & Dorman Center. She is survived by 8 children: Joe Blanc, Jr., Michael Blanc, Cynthia Pate (Gerald), Marta Blanc, Steve Blanc (Kim), Kenny Blanc, Ashley Blanc and Amandita Nicolasora Kirkland; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Arielle Center Smith (Fred) and Thelma Center Wate (Chuck); 2 brothers: Marvin Center & Eugene Center (Betty) and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
