I worked with Dr Sang in the early 70´s at Kings County Hospital in the Labor & Delivery. This was 53 years ago, but I never forgot how easy he was to work with & his sense of humor! I´m sorry to hear of his passing, he was unforgettable!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Sang's loved ones. He was a part of our lives 18-20 years ago in the sorrow of the loss of one baby and the anxiety and joy of the birth of a healthy one.
Physicians who deliver babies always seem to be remembered vividly by the parents, but as a mother of three, one of whom Dr. Sang delivered, he was one of a kind.
With his brilliant, highly intense, fast paced, and sometimes brusque manner, he was a person not to be forgotten and could be a force to be reckoned with. We found his direct approach to be just what was right for us and as my husband has said, he always seemed to listen to you. What we both most, however, remember is that he was an individual who dealt in a kind and caring manner with us as patients and gave us the knowledge necessary to be part of the decision making process, even when the knowledge was not pleasant. At times like those he was especially compassionate with me as a mother who had lost a child, but also knew when to gently, but firmly help me move on in my grief.
We missed him as a doctor when he moved on, but we will always remember him for his dry, playful sense of humor and his kindness and commitment to us, his patients.
God be with you, Dr. Sang.
