Lisa and I met in graduate school at Rush University in Chicago - she quickly became one of my best friends. Though her life was way too short, I am so grateful that God made our paths cross more than 25yrs ago. She is the most amazing person I have ever met- God's love illuminated through her to all the people she loved. And though I will miss her every day of my life- I know we will meet again. Rest in peace my dear sweet friend- you have fought the good fight and truly earned it. I love you. May God bless the Lampe and Rogers families through this very difficult time.

The Lisa that I knew and adored as a child was an open-hearted, open-minded woman who was so passionate and so caring to everyone she encountered. The world seems a little less bright today, and my sons and I will pray for comfort for those that Lisa has left behind.

It was such a pleasure to know Lisa. I worked with her at Shands and she taught me a lot about OT and about life in general. She once spent an extra hour of her time with me and a patient constructing a complicated splint and I'll never forget how thankful I was for her guidance with that :). I loved her positive outlook on life, words of wisdom and will always remember her bright smile. I am praying for your family during this time.
