My heart goes out to this precious family. I have been blessed to catch a glimpse of this wonderful human being through the writings of others. I'd like to share a poem I wrote in hopes that it may bring some measure of comfort

Don't Cry 'Cause I'm Safe

I'm an angel up in heaven now
Holding Jesus' hand
I know my untimely departure
Is so hard to understand

But please don't be sad
Don't shed another tear
'Cause now I'm safe from harm
With no more hurt or fear

I can sit on Jesus' lap
And hold my head to His chest
As He tells me bedtime stories
I like the ones about you best

So when you glance toward heaven
And see the brightest star that shines
Know I'm watching over you
And that I'm doing fine

I was shocked when I heard of the passing of Bill, But I know without a doubt that Bill has met his creator Jesus Christ, And that he was told "Well done thy good and faithful servant". I worked at First National Bank with Bill from the day he started there until I moved away to Tennesse in 2008.It was an honor to work with Bill and to know him and his beautiful little girls and wife. My heart aches for his family and friends, I pray for God to wrap his arms around each of you and give you all the peace that surpasses every understanding.I know the days ahead will seem neverending, but I know that God will see you through.. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.. With much Love.. Andrea M Gonyea

They arrive in our lives, they leave our lives - with tears upon their coming and going - these wonderful humans are on loan to us - a loan far wider than our grasp. They often leave their traces in those we love albeit physically or only in the mind and sometimes even both. That's what's on my mind. Let me not embarrass a visiting tear.
Rest peacefully Billy:Maurice William Dee "Billy" 8/19/69 - 4/2/2011~

Sandra, Dave, Marsha, John, Angela, & Girls,

I am very sorry for the loss of Billy. He was a fine son, brother, husband, father, cousin, and friend. Over the past few days I have been thinking about him, especially his younger years. The one thing that keeps coming back to me was when he "saw" Jesus the first time when he was five years old during his heart surgery. He told the doctors that Jesus was holding his hand through the surgery. The doctors told him that is was them. He said "NO, it was Jesus. He was the one with the holes in his hands." He is now with Jesus holding his hand as he is walking the streets of gold. I am praying for you that God will help you and give you the strength each day and to remember all the good times.

Billy, you will be missed!

Love,
Susie

What I Loved...He put his trust in the Almighty God of heaven. He was a son, brother, husband, father; family was important to him. He would wear flip flops and sandals anywhere. He was the only one I knew that didn't think my dream of sailing around the world on a forty-five foot boat with several children was a crazy idea. He claimed to like my cooking and had a way of making me feel like the best cook in the world, even if it isn't true. He could hit several of my 'buttons' in one swoop. He liked super heroes and the X Files. The more excited he became about the topic of conversation, the closer he would get to you, face to face. He had absolutely no respect for my bubble space. He always greeted me with a hug.

See you on the other side, my friend.
