Michael David Kemper

KEMPER Michael David Kemper, age 57 of St. Augustine, FL passed away February 20, 2008 at Baptist South Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Kemper loved music and was an active member of the St. Augustine local music scene, playing in bands such as Life, The Paper bridge, The Ups and Downs, Cockylot, the Vibrotones and the First National Rotagilla Band. He worked as a mechanical engineer and project manager for, Powell and Hinkle Engineering, and also owned his own business, Kemper Design Services, where he designed residential house plans and such. Mike also had a great love for automobiles and his family. Mr. Kemper is survived by his wife, Leslie Kemper; son, Michael Damian Kemper; daughter-in-law Nicole Kemper, sisters Patricia Worthington and Sharon Stout; two granddaughters, Madison and Gracie Kemper. He is predeceased by his parents, Marion and Grace Hunt Kemper. Mike will be missed and remembered by the music he played, the friends he made, the family he took such great care of and the way he loved others. Mr. Kemper's family will receive friends Monday, 5:00 - 6:00 PM, with a celebration of his life starting at 6:00 PM at Craig Funeral Home Chapel.
