I knew Penny in high school. We shared a couple of classes in '76 or '77. She was one of the few people I would genuinely look forward to seeing each day. We were always laughing and really enjoyed each others friendship. I have always remembered her because of her sense of humor and smile. I ran into her only a couple of times after high school but have always hoped things were good for her. I was very saddened to find that she had passed. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

So very sorry to hear of Penny's passing. She was a precious friend who always had a smile and kind word. We were aerobics buddies back in the early 90s. Precious memories of lots of laughter. Her sweet spirt was a blessing to all who knew her.

Penny Key was my dear friend. She was Miss Personality and would light up a room with her lovely smile and infectious laughter. She loved her bling and so did I. Our husbands Andy and John were Home Group leaders along with Lafayette and Kathy Cope, and Lewis and Debra Harper. We spent a few years together studying and sharing the Word of God with friends and neighbors. Penny love her Lord and Savior. Three years ago when I was going through a crisis, Penny had me over for a relaxing time in her pool. She held my hand well over an hour and prayed and listened to me in my despair. That's just who she was...loving and compassionate. If I had to sum up Penny Key, I would say she was a gift...a gift that will be greatly missed. I love you Penny.
