Warren Coker Obituary
Warren Edward Coker, age 79, passed away, Tuesday, June 19, 2018. Warren was a native of Cullman, AL, a member of Redemption Church, the owner and operator of Coker Corp. and was employed by Batson-Cook Construction Company for 25 years. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Coker. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rietta Coker, his two sons; Timothy Coker and Eddie Coker (Kelly), a daughter, Tammy Rock (Edwin), a brother, Don Coker and three sisters; Bonnie Patterson, Gail Coker and Gloria Skiles, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00am in Redemption Church, 2000 Lane Ave, S, Jacksonville, FL 32210 with Pastor JimBo Stewart and Dr. Harold Hudson officiating.

The word I would use to describe Warren is "jolly". He always had a smirk, grin, sneer or smile for you. I loved his humor and upbeat demeanor. I remember vividly visiting his home when I was a teenager running around with Eddie through Youth Dept and seeing him sitting there in his chair reading his Bible. Something, unfortunately, you were not accustomed to seeing Christians do. Sorry we were out of town at the time of his passing. We would have loved to have celebrated his life with your great family. There is much to celebrate of the life of Warren Coker. May you have His peace that surpasses understanding.
