Dunbar
Mrs. Alicia Ann Dunbar, 65, of Jim Thorpe, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, in her home. She was the wife of Glenn Dunbar.
For most of her life, she was employed as a certified nurse's aide, working in the local area.
Born in Leh-ighton, she was a daugh-ter of the late Kermit and Janice (Anstead) Weiss.
She was a member of St John's Lutheran Church in the Heights, Jim Thorpe.
She loved spending time with her family and volunteering at the Carbon County Friend of Animals.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Desiree Dunbar, with whom she resided, and her significant other, Michael Heffelfinger II, Danielle Dunbar and Dana Dunbar, and her significant other, Nicholas Mengle; a grandson Benjamin; and sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a brother, Evan Weiss.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe, with Pastor F. Peter Muhr officiating. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery, Jim Thorpe. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday.

I will always remember Alicia sitting in the reception area of CCFOA and admiring Blackjack. She loved that cat! We truly miss Alicia's warmth and her ready smile.
