Dennis M. Yanick

Dennis M. Yanick, 77, of Lansford, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, in the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Drabic) Yanick, who passed away in 2006.

He retired from the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation, where he worked in the Beam Yard and was a member of the Steel Workers Union.

Born in Nesquehoning, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Zigmund Yanick.

He was a graduate of Nesquehoning High School and was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are his children, Amy Yanick of Lansford and Brian Yanick, and his wife, Kim, of Drums; a nephew, Ryan Eidle, and his wife Mary Jo; and a cousin, Diane Eidle Clawson.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis Yanick Jr.; and brothers, Jack Yanick and Eugene Yanick.

Services: Funeral services will be announced at a later time. Arrangements have been placed in the care of the Parambo Funeral Home, Summit Hill. Online condolences may be shared at www.parambofh.com.

Dennis was as good a man as I have ever met. Kind, generous and loyal to a fault. I didn't get to know him until his later years, but we shared the same views on many important matters. May he RIP.
