Mrs. Dorothy A. Zlock, 93, of Nesquehoning, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in Maple Shade Meadows, Nesquehoning. She was the loving wife of Samuel E. Zlock, who passed away in 2010.
She worked for Bright's in Lehigh-
ton and Drigan's Market in "Nesqi" for many years. She also took great pride in her county and civic duties while serving as a voting judge for elections.
Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Harvilla) Kulha.
She was a 1947 graduate of Lehighton High School.
Dorothy was a member of St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church, Lansford, and the VFW Post 8008 Auxiliary, Nesquehoning.
She was known to many as Grammy Zlock, and she loved each and every one of you. Dorothy loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Samuel J. and Thomas J., husband of Pamela (Corby), both of Nesquehoning; three grandchildren, Christopher L. of North Wales and John T. and Samantha L., both of Nesquehoning; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, John, William, Francis and Edward.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford. Interment, Slovak Protestant Cemetery, Nesquehoning.
