Joel Hunsicker Obituary
Joel D.A. Hunsicker, 45, of Palmerton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 20, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus.
He worked for 10 years as a dishwasher for the Palmerton Hotel. He also delivered the Times-News for many years.
Joel attended St. John's Towamensing Lutheran Church, Palmerton.
He loved fishing, playing pool, shopping, and most of all "uncle time" with his beloved nieces and nephews.
Born in Allentown, Joel was a son of Annette (Dotter) Anthony and the late Randy Hunsicker.
Survivors: Mother and partner Larry Wallace; sisters Sarah Solt and husband Matthew, Leah Jones and husband Ken Hittner; brothers Nathan and companion Kobi Klingensmith, David and fiancée Kristin Smith, Eli Borger and wife Kortney; aunts, uncle, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services: 1 p.m. Saturday, August 23, at T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, 145 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Call 12-1 p.m. Saturday.
Contributions: American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.

I´m so sorry to hear about Joel he was a great guy funny and inspiring to others and always lended a helping hand we had some good funny times together growing up as childhood church friends and a lot of great times at church and bowman park camp Joel will be missed by many and my condolences to the hunsicker family may Joel rest in peace in the arms of the lord until we meet again Joel rest high up above mg friend

Taking Joel up to lake Ontario fishing he had such a good time caught big northern Pike and brown trout. We will miss him very much.he would come to all of my son's wrestling matches to cheer him on.

Joel will certainly be missed. He ALWAYS took the time to talk to us when we´d see him. We might have talked about fishing, shopping or not spending money on someone or something! lol . May all the good memories get you through the time ahead. Hugs to all.
