John Patterson Obituary

John Calvin Patterson II

John Calvin Patterson II, 45, of Lehighton passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, in his home in Virginia Beach, VA.

After graduating in 1997, John made the ultimate sacrifice and joined the U.S. Navy. In 2021, John retired proudly dedicating 24 years of service to our country as a Boatswain's Mate Chief (BMC/E7).

John was an avid sports fan. You would find him cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Michigan Wolverines and the New York Mets. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife.

John made the best out of every situation and lived life to the fullest. He always had a smile on his face and a song in his heart.

John left a lasting impression on everyone he met. We will remember him for all that he has done and the love he had for his family, friends and country.

John is survived by his wife, Yukiko Patterson; parents, Keith and Jane Patterson; sister Jessica, wife of Kevin Weierbach; nephew/godson Carter; and niece Charlotte.

Service: A celebration of life will follow at a later date. The Cremation Society of Virginia, Virginia Beach, is in charge of the arrangements.
