Joseph Kuba Obituary
Joseph Kuba, 67, of Stroudsburg, formerly of Lansford, passed away on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital, Monroe Campus, Stroudsburg.
Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Michael V. and Sophie C. (Grybel) Kuba.
Joseph had attended the Developmental Education Services of Monroe County, having still been involved in their program. He was of the Catholic faith.
Joseph was known for his great memory of dates and birthdays for everyone he had met.
Surviving are brothers, Robert M. Kuba, and his wife Jacqueline, of Lehighton, and Michael Kuba, and his wife Jean, of Harpers Ferry, WV; sisters, Carol Kuba of North Carolina and Susan Behrman, and her husband Carl, of Kutztown; several nieces and nephews.
Service: Funeral service on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill, with the Rev. Robert George officiating. Interment will follow at Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Calling hours on Thursday from 10-11 a.m.
Contributions, in his memory, may be made to the Developmental Education Services of Monroe County, 400 Powerhouse Lane, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Online condolences may be shared at www.parambofh.com.

I spent many yes with Joe as his instructor at d.e.s. He was quite found of my son a d always wanted updates on him. I will miss Joe and I will never forget the brilliant mind that he had. O am honored to have known Joe, and send my deepest condolences to his family! An absolute treasure lost.

My great grandmother used to live next to Joseph and his family on Kline Alley in Lansford. (late 60's?) We lived in NJ, so we were not there all the time. When we would go visit my Gram Yezzi, one of the first things my brother Mark and I would do is to run out to the back of the house to see if Joseph was outside. Then we would ask him if he remembered our birthdays and he always remembered! We were always so amazed! Its funny, I don't remember a lot from that early age, but I can still see him and remember his voice like it was yesterday. Rest in peace, Joseph.
