Mae Nolan Obituary

Mrs. Mae O. Nolan, 80, of Woodland Drive, Walnutport, Lehigh Township, died Sunday evening, Sept. 4, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the widow of Patrick J. Nolan, who died in 1997.
She was a machine operator for the former Stanwood Mils Co., Slatington, for eight years before retiring in 1995, and previously had worked for the former American Safety Co., Fullerton.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late James F. Sr. and Catherine E. (Snyder) Bradley.
She was a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church.
Surviving are seven daughters, Kim, wife of Larry Kristie, and Rose, wife of Melvin Moyer, both of Allentown, Angie, wife of Frank Bauer of Bath, Joyce Cerniglio, and her partner, Sue Bortz, of Quakertown, Patricia, wife of Robert Kern Jr. of Whitehall, Kelly Nolan-Reitz of Slatington and Michelle M. Nolan, with whom she resided; two sons, Frank Alotta Jr. of Blandon, Berks County, and Joseph Cerniglia Jr., and his wife, Lynn, in Georgia; three sisters, Eleanor A. Barna a nd Virginia, wife of James Christman, both of Allentown, and Doris, wife of Robert Goss in Ohio; a brother David in California; 24 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister Joyce, who died as a toddler; and two brothers, James Jr. and John.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, with the Rev. Steven C. Hummel officiating. Interment, Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Hanover Twp. Contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Soc., Lehigh Valley Unit, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, Pa. 18017.
