Melanie Windhorn Obituary
Melanie H. Windhorn, 63, of Palmerton, passed away suddenly Thursday, April 11 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Rolf Windhorn. They were married 43 years last October.
She spent her career in accounting, working primarily for the Lehighton Area School District in business administration.
Melanie was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Trachsville.
She loved her family dearly, and had a special place in her heart for her cats and dogs.
Born in Lehighton, Melanie was a daughter of the late Leon and Marjorie (Switzgable) Meinhart.
Survivors: Husband; daughter Tiffany and husband Nicholas Condo; son Jarad and partner Jess Augustine; grandsons Steven and Preston; sister Laurel and husband David Taschler; niece Nicole.
Services: Memorial, 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 17 in church, 500 Church Dr, Palmerton. Call 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Wednesday in church. Arrangements, T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, Palmerton.
Contributions: Animals in Distress, PO Box 609, Coopersburg 18036.

I just found out that Melanie passed this year, and I wish I had known sooner. She was one of the nicest people. I'll miss our occasional chats. I'm very saddened and sorry to learn of this but thankful that I had the chance to know Melanie. We pray for strength and comfort for Rolf and family.
