Robert Ehrig Obituary
Robert N. "Robin" Ehrig, 76, of Tamaqua, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021.
Prior to retiring, he was employed by Mack Trucks and later was a private invest-
or.
Born in East Strouds-burg on Nov. 27, 1944, he was a son of the late John P. and Elizabeth (Seligman) Ehrig.
A 1962 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, he attended
Tri-State College and graduated from Indiana University of PA with a Master of Science degree and East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree in Geography and Urban Planning.
He served honorably in the U.S. Army with two tours in Vietnam from 1966-68.
Robin was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tamaqua; a life member of VFW Post 2540, Stroudsburg, the DAV, Mountain City Chapter No. 3, American Legion Post 922, Canadensis, and Trout Unlimited.
He enjoyed fly fishing in the Poconos.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, J. Peter Ehrig, who died on April 6, 1993.

Oh Dear "Robin".... the Rafferty Family, "Rafferty's Cafe" Tamaqua,PA are saddened to hear of passing of a great friend. We had a wonderful relationship with Robin and his beloved Beevis. I am sure you and Bob are having deep conversations while enjoying a brewski. We will miss you good buddy. I always enjoyed our latest telephone conversations.
