Robert Wraight Obituary
Robert "Jabip" A. Wraight Jr., 51, of Effort, formerly of Weissport, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Brookmont Health Care Center in Effort.
Robert was born in New Brunswick, NJ on Dec. 27, 1972, son of Ethel Velopolcek of Kunkletown and the late Robert A. Wraight Sr.
He had worked as a photo technician at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Lehighton for eight years.
He was an avid poker player and enjoyed family poker nights. He loved to cook for his family and was a great cook.
We have been blessed with the presence of Robert in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Ethel (Conner) Velopolcek of Kunkletown; his siblings, Michelle O'Brian and husband Shawn of Lehighton, Rebecca Curran and husband Patrick of Hellam, PA, Maria Velopolcek of Durham, NC and Alex R. Wraight of Kauai County, Hawaii.
Robert was a loving and devoted uncle to Shannon O'Brian, Noelle O'Brian of Lehighton, Dakota Wraight and Aaron Wraight of Kauai County, Hawaii, Landyn and Victoria Curran of Hellam, PA. He enjoyed spending time and taking care of his nieces and nephews.
He was loved by so many and will be sincerely missed.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
