Sierra Krynock-Thomas Obituary
Sierra Krynock- Thomas, 25, of Summit Hill, died on Friday, May 9, 2025, in Coaldale. She was the wife of Jesse Thomas, to whom she was married for six years.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of John Krynock and Heidi Hricisin, both of Summit Hill.
A 2017 graduate of Panther Valley High School, she was a homemaker and had previously worked at Taco Bell, Walmart and the Greenwood Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, all of Hometown.
Sierra loved music, gaming, caring for her three dogs, and her nights out doing karaoke. She had a special place in her heart actor Pedro Pascal.
She was a member of the former Calvary Episcopal Church of Tamaqua and a faithful attendee of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are a brother, Seth Krynock of Summit Hill; paternal grandparents, Brenda and John W. Krynock of Summit Hill; maternal grandparents, Bonnie and William Hricisin of Mahoning Valley; four aunts, Brenda Loch of Scranton, Mary Kennedy of Coaldale, Dawn Krynock of Lansford and Sarah Baneravage of Summit Hill; an uncle, William Hricisin; along with many cousins whom she loved.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Noah Krynock, who passed away in 2012.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15, Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. Interment, Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Call 6-8 o'clock tonight and 10-11 a.m. Thursday. Arrangements are being handled by the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Tamaqua. To My Little Girl,
I miss you daughter. I love you with all my heart. When you left, you took a big part of my heart with you. I don't like being without you, it hurts so much. Gone too soon. So much we could have still done. Only thing getting me through this is knowing that you are no longer suffering. I will always love you. To me, you'll always be my little girl. John John(you will always be that to me). I am at a loss for words. My heart aches for you right now. NO parent should ever endure such pain as losing a child let alone losing 2. I am so, so very sorry. You are in my thoughts and prayers AND in my heart right now. Idk if I will make it up there this week but I am truly there with you. I hope you feel my love right now.
