Steven Mansueto Obituary

Steven Mansueto Sr.

Steven Mansueto Sr., 60, of Mahoning Street, Lehighton, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jamie L. (Dorward) Mansueto. They celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary on July 21.

He was employed for many years as a carpentry supervisor with Jerdon Construction of Allentown. He also he served as a local police officer in the Weissport area.

Born in Manhattan, N.Y., he was a son of the late Dominick and Dolores (Mahacek) Mansueto.

He was of the Catholic faith and had attended Curtis High School, Staten Island, N.Y.

He was President Trump's biggest fan and a member of the Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club, Lehighton.

Besides his wife, Jamie, he is survived by children, Steven Mansueto Jr., Alexa Mansueto, Jillian Mansueto and Elizabeth Mansueto; a stepson, Colton Brown; grandchildren, Aleena, Zachary, Cooper, Victoria, Dominick, Olivia, Lucas, Priscilla and Jullian; brothers, Dominick Mansueto III, and his wife, Michelle, and Alan Mansueto; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Service: Funeral service 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, Mayes-Melber Funeral Home, 200 Franklin St., Weissport, with the Rev. Anthony Pagotto officiating. Interment, private. Viewing 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to the American Cancer Soc., P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-0309.
