Hilma, Peter & Andie...I cannot believe Al is gone. I have know him for almost 40 years & always found him to be a truly wonderful person. As a member of NCYC, he made many great friendships. I raced with him in the 70's on STILETTO (John Greiner's boat) & he was a man of integrity. He will be missed.

Hilma, Cathy, Marti and Peter...Al was such a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed. He taught so many of us about sailing and about life. His legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren.
We have wonderful memories of our time together on Lake Erie and at NCYC. We'll keep those fun times in our hearts and minds forever.

AJ... The greatest sailor, Dad, Teacher, Friend and Mentor I've ever known...You taught me so much about boating, (and other things..but we cant talk about those here) you are the reason I am in the yachting industry today.... I've traveled the world on yachts and in the industry, none of it would have happening if you hadn't shown your knowledge and love to me as a kid. I have been in several storms at sea over the years and never felt it was a problem because of what you taught me. Now the storms will be easier then before knowing you will be looking over all of us....I will miss you. HJ, Peter, Marti and Cathy my prayers and thought are with you!...love you all xo
