Dear Alex,
On the eve of your birthday my heart is heavy. Our lives were tragically changed close to a year ago when we lost you & I would do anything to have the power to bring you back on earth with Ashlynn & all of us. You took a part of our family & our hearts, & most of Ashlynn´s, with you. I don´t have a garnished drink without thinking of you. Same when I get a fancy dessert & think of your articulate descriptions you so generously shared with us even though I drove you nuts asking you to do another description. Can´t wait to see you again over a garnished drink & a delectable dessert. In the meantime please know how much you are loved & missed. Lots of Love to my wonderful nephew from Aunt Susan

Our sweet Alex is never far from my mind. I will always ask why. My Ashlynn is trying her best, but the hurt is so intense. I pray that Alex is happy and healthy and some day I will be lucky enough to spend time with him and talk about all the fun stuff. Always in my heart. Love, Shelby and Jack Sijan

Alex is the nephew everyone wants. Always sweet, kind caring and fun. Alex and my precious niece, Ashlynn, have been the perfect pair for so very long. Their love is so strong and natural. I truly believe they were made for each other. Alex will always walk beside Ashlynn, encouraging, encouraging and loving her. I have always smiled hearing him say simply, "Hi Shelby." I am forever grateful to have been lucky enough to have experienced Alex's sunshine in my life. I will miss him so very much.

Cheers to Alex-a finer man never walked this Earth. We´ll look after your Soulmate Ashlynn until you´re once again reunited. Thanks for giving her so much joy during the short time you had together on earth. You´ve been our chosen family since the day we met you. We love you!!! Until the day we meet again & laugh about one of these drinks with a peculiar garnish & until I once again bug you to describe a dessert in delicious detail as only you can, Brave Warrior. #ashlexforever Love from Aunt Susan, Uncle Brant,
& Brittany
