Antonio "Tony"

Antonio "Tony" Sofo, 76, of Oregon, died Monday, January 5, 2015, at Sacred Heart Home, Little Sisters of the Poor.

Tony came to the U.S. in 1963, and proudly earned his citizenship on June 13, 1969. A Tailor by trade, he was employed with the Lion and J.C. Penney department stores.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Frank Sofo.

Surviving are his brothers, Mario (Anauzita) of Italy and Guido (Elisa) Sofo; sister-in-law, Carmila Sofo; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015, at the Sacred Heart Home, Little Sisters of the Poor, 930 S. Wynn Road, Oregon, Ohio, with his Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11 a.m. Entombment, Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio. Contributions in Tony's name may be made to Sacred Heart Home, Little Sisters of the Poor
