Audrey Kannemann Obituary
Audrey (Brueshaber - Kunz)
Audrey passed over to a new life on June 13, 2014. She was born on July 23, 1927, and was preceded in death by her husbands, Frederick S. Kunz, Melvin A. Kannemann and son, Frederick John.
She is survived by her children, Helen (Milton) Schalow, Dan (Maureen) Kunz; grandchildren, Rhonda (Matt) Simpson, Marla Schalow (fiancé, Thorsten Gleich), Kara, Kevin and Kane Kunz and great-grandsons, Alex, Andrew and Adam Simpson. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Helen Krasula and Sharon Schmuhl and brothers, John, Norman and Larry Brueshaber; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Brothers, Donald and Roy and sisters, Marie Hancock and Elsie Sherman also preceded her in death as well as lifetime friend, Madelyn Baumberger.
Audrey was a member of the Worldwide Church of God for over 30 years. She enjoyed cooking and operated the Valleywood Dining Room as well as Audrey's Riverside Restaurant. She was also the head cook at Bittersweet Farms for 20 years.
Family and friends will be received at the Peinert Dunn Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd. Waterville, Ohio on Monday, June 16, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 17, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Stuart Mahan officiating, followed by burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Please consider any expressions of sympathy to ProMedica Hospice.
