Barbara Sabin Obituary
Barbara Jean
Barbara Jean Sabin, 88, of Maumee, Ohio and formerly of Columbus, Ohio passed away on September 28, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 25, 1927, in Toledo, Ohio to John and Minnie Emch. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed. Barbara worked as a designer at Arlington Decorating Centre in Upper Arlington, Ohio and was a volunteer at James Cancer Hospital at Ohio State University.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Harold Wayne Sabin; children, Carol Ann (David) Hevey, Jean Marie (Kim Toscano) Sabin and James Pren (Tina) Sabin; grandchildren, Adam Rice, Austin Casto, Craig Casto, Amber Toscano and Jordan Toscano; sister, Phyllis Sabin; brothers, Robert Emch and Jack (Carol) Emch and many many nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Clarence Emch, Edna Moore, Norman Emch, Myron (Mike) Emch, Ruth Logsdon, Bernadine “Bea” Nachtrab and James “Jim” Emch.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, Ohio on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 4-7 p.m., where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Barbara's name can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd. Perrysburg, OH 43551.

Aunt Barbara,
As you have passed on to the hands of the Lord, now may he reward you with all the joy and love that you have given so many through the years. Memories of growing up and visiting with you bring nothing but smiles and good memories. Dad has always spoken of and cares so much for you, you are and have been very important to him and he Loves you dearly.
Thank you for blessing our lives and we are all better people with you being in our lives..
God Bless you Uncle Harold and may he comfort you in this time.
As you know, Dad has been in the hospital this week, or I would have come over to pay my respects. Our prayers are with you all.
