Dale Przybysz Obituary

Dale Richard Przybysz

January 8, 1954 - December 2, 2024

Dale Richard Przybysz, known as Rick, passed away on December 2, 2024, in his beloved hometown of Toledo, Ohio. Born on January 8, 1954, Rick lived a life marked by dedication, loyalty, devotion to his work, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.

Rick completed a fulfilling career, having retired from Jeep while most recently serving at St. Francis Catholic Church in Toledo. His deep dedication to the church was evident to all who knew him, and he found genuine joy in contributing his time and efforts to serve others within his community.

Rick's personality was full of warmth and friendliness. He was known as a helpful and hardworking individual, traits that made it impossible for him to meet a stranger. His generosity extended through every aspect of his life, touching everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

In his leisure time, Rick found great pleasure in various hobbies. He was an avid fisherman and had a passion for baseball, football, and bowling. He loved his Detroit Tigers and the Michigan Wolverines. As a proud member of the UAW Local 12, he took much satisfaction in his work and enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly caring for his yard. Rick and his wife, Marcia, who shared in 47 wonderful years of marriage, relished cooking together and creating memories in the kitchen. Sundays were particularly special, as he lived for his rides on his Harley, embracing the freedom and joy of the open road.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Marcia Przybysz; their children, Dale Przybysz II, Christi Bomia, and Mark Przybysz; and his cherished grandchildren, Dale Przybysz III, Savannah Przybysz, Logan Kidd, Landan Kidd, Dominic Przybysz, Nolan Przybysz, Aubriana Przybysz, Kenzie Przybysz, Rilea Przybysz, Rhealynn Przybysz, and Natalie Przybysz. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Przybysz, and his wife, Denise; brother-in-law, Ray Deeb; goddaughter Angie Deeb; goddaughter Melissa Przybysz; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and many, many friends who will miss him dearly.

Rick is preceded in death by his son, Thomas Przybysz; and his sister, Linda Deeb.

A visitation to celebrate Rick's life will be held on December 13, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH. This will be followed by a funeral service starting at 4:00 p.m. also at the same location.

Rick's legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. He will be remembered not just for his accomplishments, but for the impact he had on the lives of everyone he met.
